2. Butterfly valves can be installed at any position on the equipment pipeline. However, if there is a transmission device, it should be installed vertically, that is, the transmission device must be located perpendicular to the horizontal pipeline, and the installation position is conducive to operation and inspection.

3. When installing butterfly valves, it is advisable to allow the medium to flow from the valve's rotating axis towards the sealing surface direction as much as possible, as forward sealing performance is better than reverse sealing.

4. The connecting bolts between the butterfly valve and the pipeline should be tightened multiple times in a diagonal direction during installation. The connecting bolts should not be tightened at once to prevent uneven force from causing leakage at the flange connection..

5. When opening the butterfly valve, rotate the handwheel counterclockwise. Turn the handwheel clockwise when closing. Rotate into position according to the opening and closing indicator marks.

6. When the electric butterfly valve leaves the factory, the stroke of the control mechanism has been adjusted. To prevent confusion in the direction of power connection, users should manually turn it to the half open position before the first power connection, and check whether the direction of the indicator panel is consistent with the direction of the valve opening.

7. When a butterfly valve is in use, if a malfunction is found, it should be immediately stopped, the cause identified, and the malfunction cleared.

8. Storage of butterfly valves: Butterfly valves that have not been installed and used should be stored in a dry room, neatly stacked, and not allowed to be stored outdoors to prevent damage and corrosion. Butterfly valves that have been stored for a long time should be regularly cleaned, blown dry, and coated with rust preventive oil. Blind plates should be used at both ends of the butterfly valve to protect the flange sealing surface and prevent impurities from entering the inner cavity.
